Day 30: Where’s the Thai AA Man?

Today was a long day.

We woke up, tidied and packed and checked out of our room, said goodbye to the people in our dorm, grabbed some breakfast and made our way to the bus station to say a final farewell to Chiang Mai. We got there just in time to catch the bus that would take five hours to get to Sukothai, our next stop. Sukothai is a historical city with many very old Wats, Chedis and Bhuddas, with a great big historical park full of old buildings.

We got on the bus and relaxed, as this was going to be a fairly long journey. I downloaded a new book on my ipad, The Gormenghast Trilogy.
