Survival horror games are an exhilarating experience for any gamer out there. There are some that are action-packed like Resident Evil, while there are others that rely on hiding and running, much like Clock Tower or Amnesia. Outlast is, thankfully, the latter.
Outlast is a survival horror game developed by Red Barrels and written by J.T. Petty (Splinter Cell). It is considered to be the scariest and most chilling game by far and it was recently released on the PlayStation 4. Currently, there’s DLC in the works titled Outlast: Whistleblower, which is a prequel before the main story takes place.
