The World According To Brian

It’s been a long time since I can truly say that I’ve had a strong sense of fear in a video game. The Resident Evil series had it’s moments I the early games, but now it’s all action. The Dead Space games had it until the latest entry last year. I can list a few others, but these survival horror games all have something in common. They’re just not scary anymore. I had a sad feeling that the genre as a whole has become rather stale with no hopes of resuscitation. Then came Outlast, and all of a sudden I can feel the cold shiver move down my spine. The horror is back and better than ever.
