PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Officials are asking people to come forward, after it was discovered that a person rode a Port Authority bus while infected with measles.

The Health Department says the person was first exposed to the measles in New York state.

However, they say the person rode the northbound 64 Port Authority bus Feb. 14 between Fifth and South Highland avenues at 9:12 a.m.

They say anyone who rode that bus between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. may have been exposed. Additionally, they are asking anyone who may have been exposed to self-report.

Officials say if you think you might be affected and show symptoms between now and March 7, to contact your primary care provider.
